This is because the BBA course offered in DU is completely different from the BBA offered in other universities like IP University or Jamia Milia Islamia, etc. In DU, they offer BBA in the form of BMS, BBE and BFIA which require analytical and inclination towards finance and numbers. Thus, with maths as an eligibility criterion, it'll be easier for students to cope up with the curriculum.

Presidency College is one of the best colleges of India. The entrance won't be easy like every year. You can practice general aptitude and class 11-12 maths.

Maths is not necessary but knowledge in maths can be an added advantage as in fashion designing you require geometry for designing clothes in 3D like rotations, reflexion, etc.
The basic eligibility is minimum 50% or above in class 12th from any recognised board. Some good institutes like NIFT, NID, etc. have their own entrance exams to be cleared by the candidates along with the aforementioned criteria to get selected.

Sorry, but I think with 70% you can't pursue honors in maths because DU's cut-off for Maths Honors is usually very high.

Quantitative Aptitude of DU JAT contains basic Maths from class 6th - class 12th. It includes topics like probability, Statistics, Permutation and combination, Trigonometry, Menstruation, Linear Equation, Relations and function, Straight lines, pipes and cistern, 3 dimensional geometry, Time and speed, HCF and LCM, application of differentiation etc

DU is the best option and you can also go for JNU.

You can go for M.Sc or MBA finance.

Dear Girish, with these low marks, it is difficult to get admission in DU, because of the high cut off. You should try for admission in good private universities like LPU, Manipal University, Amity, etc. Where you can GET admission based on their tests too.
