Yes it is possible to study in Mauritius without IELTS provided one satisfies any requirements mentioned below-
- Have valid scores in English in high school
- Provide a MOI certificate from CBSE, ISC, etc., schools
- Assess English based on academic background

International students can work for max 20 hours per week off-campus along with studies and full time during vacations or academic breaks.
Students can work at more than 1 jobs as long as they stay within this time limit. Working 20+ hours in a week is violation of Mauritius student visa rule. This can lead to termination of same resulting in deportation from Mauritius .
