MBA Eligibility

Eligibility criteria are generally as follows for admissions into Avanthi Degree and PG College MBA programs:.

 The applicants should be graduates with a degree from a recognised university in any discipline and have minimum percentages, usually around 50% or more, as may be specified by the particular college.

 Candidates need to score valid marks in any one of the entrance tests such as a Common Entrance Test (CET), ICET (for Telangana), or any other equivalent ones recognised by the college. Some colleges may also accept CAT, MAT, or XAT. Generally, there is no age limit for taking an MBA course. But, an aspirant is better off checking with the college for its specification. Other documents required could include: DEGREE CERTIFICATES, ENTRANCE EXAMINATION SCORE CARDS, IDENTITY PROOF, AND PHOTOGRAPHS.

Admissions for the MBA in Business Analytics at the University of Hyderabad are done based on a written entrance examination for 75 marks (comprising of various sections related to Logical reasoning, Verbal ability, Quantitative ability, Mathematical ability, Statistical ability, Analytical skills, Data Analysis, Interpretation, etc.) conducted by the University followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. • Candidates shortlisted after the written test will be called for a personal interview.
• The final offer would be made on the basis of performance in the written test, group discussion and personal interview.
• 60% weightage would be given to the written exam score, 15% weightage for group discussion and 25% weightage for the personal interview respectively.
• Further, the university releases the admission notification in the months of March/ April every year. The notification would be advertised in popular newspapers and can also be accessed on the university website.
