The admission procedure for MBA/PGDM programme in Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Management Studies and Research is basically a two-tier process. CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT scores are screened on a minimum percentile requirement of 40 with final selections being made after written and/or group discussion and personal interview rounds. Also, the candidates passed in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET) are also eligible to take this test. Shortlisted candidates are invited for Group Discussion ( GD ) and Personal Interview ( PI ) which are assigned 20 and 30 marks each. The final merit list is drawn on 100 marks and the entrance test

The basis of selection at AIMS – Atharva Institute of Management Studies for MBA/PGDM course:
The candidates should have appeared in any of the management entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA and secured minimum 50%ile in each of these tests. It is also necessary that the candidate has passed the bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% marks. Thus, the selection process includes the group discussion (GD), which has 20% weightage to personal interview (PI) containing 30% weightage. The remaining 50% weightage is awarded of academic achievement of the candidate and his scores in the entrance test.
