MBA Eligibility

As per the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), the eligibility criteria for GMAT exams have not been officially stated. The institute or university in which the student is seeking admission may have certain eligibility criteria, and they may vary across universities. However, the basic eligibility for GMAT exams are as follows:
Age
You must be at least 18 years old. Those of you who are between 13 and 17 years must get a written proof of permission, from a parent or legal guardian in order to appear for the GMAT exam. There is no upper age limit to take the GMAT exam.
Educational Qualifications
You must have an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized board or university. There is no upper limit of educational qualification apart from graduation, if you are interested in appearing for the GMAT exam.
Nationality
As far as your nationality is concerned, there are no restrictions and hassles. You can be from any part of the world to be able to take this test. Some of you might be thinking that the eligibility criteria for the GMAT exam vary across countries, but this is not true. The rules and eligibility criteria are the same for all candidates from any part of the world.
Number of Attempts
You can take the GMAT exam as many times as you want. However, you can take the test once every 16 days and no more than five times in 12 months. If you have previously achieved a total GMAT score of 800, you must wait at least five years, before reappearing for the GMAT test again.

Candidates are eligible to apply for the FPM program if they fulfill either of the two following criteria:
Masters degree in any discipline with 55% marks (or grade point equivalent) throughout academic career(or)
Bachelors degree of at least four year duration (such as B.E./B.Tech./B. Arch.) from a recognized University/Institute with 55% marks (or grade point equivalent).
Final year candidates who are about to complete their respective degrees (Bachelor's or Master's) by 2017 are eligible to apply and can receive provisional acceptance. With their initial application, they must submit a bona-fide certificate signed by the head of their current department/institution indicating that they have completed all examinations/submissions required for obtaining the degree. No later than December 29th, 2017, they must submit the final mark sheets /certificates related to completion of the degree indicating the minimum cut-off (55% marks or grade point equivalent) has been met.
Though not mandatory, as additional information, candidates may submit CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/NET-JRF score(s) and details of work experience (if any) with the application form.
In the application, candidates MUST specify whether they want to option for marketing or operations management as their research area. Selected candidates cannot change their area at any later stage.
