Hello,
To get admission into any good and reputed B-School in India, one has to compulsorily appear for the particular entrance exam(s), clear the necessary cutoffs and the further interview rounds (if shortlisted). There is no other way to obtain admission.

If there were easy and simple methods to qualify, everybody could have done it. I suggest you buy books like Arun Sharma or any CAT book from McGraw Hills publications. Also, join a test series and make sure you keep improving with each test.

Both the exams are competitive. But CMAT has a wider pool of colleges than MAT. Though to make sure, you can check the accepted exams of the college that you are targeting.

Hi,
Don't worry about your scores right now. You can always score amazing in your CAT and expect a call. They have a criteria for eligibility. Try obtaining the best possible score for yourself.

The cutoff changes every year depending on the paper level.
The hostel fee is approximately INR 50,000 for 1 year.
You can choose your specialization in the second year depending on your career choice. All options have a good future.

Hello,
I don't want to add any fake hopes here.
I would suggest you to go through the syllabus of CAT first and then decide.
Because it is not easier to crack CAT.
Good luck!

Hello,
The process of calculating marks and overall checking in CAT exam is quite ambiguous, thus making it quite difficult to state accurately. One who obtains 100 percentile hasn't got full marks i.e. 300 out of 300. Rather no one has scored more than him/her in the exam, that's why he/she could obtain that score. For example, someone scoring 99.50 percentile has, in practicality, scored more marks than 99.5% of the total test-takers and only 0.05% people are ahead of him/her.
