For general category students, all those with 92 percentile and above were called for interviews and out which students have been selected on the basis of their cumulative scores for CAT and GD-PI.

There is no formal cutoff. Overall profile like academics, extra curricular activities, work experience if any, is considered and final evaluation is done.

Only those who are in their final year of any graduation course or have already graduated can appear for the CAT. So, being in the second year, you cannot appear for CAT exam.

Don't worry about the weak areas. Do your best and strengthen your strong points. Start from now, take out a little time for reasoning, DI and maths. You will surely crack the exam.

Most of the exams take place during the month of November and December. But there are a few exams like MAT and GMAT which are conducted more than once in a year.

Yes, you should go for coaching classes because it will help you practically. If you have completed your 2nd year then it is the best time to take coaching classes and you will get ample of time to do self-preparation but please try to get admission in a really good college, not in any private college.
