Now, preparing for CAT isn't too difficult. If you have time issues, try online learning organised by famous teachers. These are time efficient and cost less than the normal tuition.
These are great options for you. And to improve your reading habits, just read newspaper daily. You will stay up to date with the latest information and improve your current affairs knowledge and improve reading habits too.

No, now the CAT score is not required. You just have to clear the entrance exam.

Impossible to get an admission with this score in MMS. For PGDM too, you should have been through extra ordinary GDPI to make it to SIES PGDM. If you have got any another college, I would advise you to secure an admission in the same.

If you don't want to take any exams then there are college based exams like DY Patil has its own exam Symbiosis has its own exam SNAP, Narsee Monjee has its own exam and on the basis of their cut-off scores, you will get admission, otherwise, there is as such no provision to get admission for any course without any entrance exam.

Basically, MBA is the study related to management it does not matter what you have done in your past for graduation, it only matters how logical you take corporate knowledge through MBA and it also does not matter what specialization you choose if depends on your grasping power there are many engineers out there who have taken finance in MBA and are doing very well.

IIM-Bangalore has some strict percentage criteria for boards (80% above in 10th and 12th, if I am not wrong). So, B might be off the books, but you still seem to have a decent chance at C with a high percentile. I don't want to be blunt, but you will really need to nail CAT hard. Otherwise, try looking at ISB, etc. wherein the admission isn't so marks based.
Good luck.

XIMR takes its candidates primarily based on CET scores through the CAP rounds. However, if you must apply for institute level seats, your other entrance exam scores will be taken into consideration and you will be considered in the All India(AI) category. For the 2016-2018 batch we had no candidate who was accepted on their CMAT score, however we did have one AI candidate who got in through their 99.31 MAT score (Rank 519). Hope this answers your question!
