CAT is a computer based test (CBT), which has 3 sections:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)
- Quantitative Ability (QA)
Plus, each section has specific time limit and candidates cannot witch between sections during the allotted time. The questions in CAT are MCQ and non-MCQ (Type in the Answer ot TITA).
The total duration for exam is 120 minutes, with 40 minutes alloted to each section and the total number of questions are 68 which is subject to vary.
Marking scheme:
- +3 for correct answer
- -1 for each incorrect answer
- no negative marking for TITA questions

AIMS Bangalore cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the MBA course. The cutoff was released on the basis of CAT percentiles. The cutoff was closed at 60, for the General All India category candidates. Therefore, it is not possible to get admisison to the college at 50 percentile.

No, it is not possible to get admission to AIMS Bangalore through CAT at 50 percentile in CAT. The last round closing percentile for the General AI category candidates was 60. The cutoff in 2023 and 2022, was 60. Therefore, the trend for cutoff has been constant through the years. The institute also accepts XAT and MAT for admissons to the college.

Yes, SIMC admits students on the basis of SNAP scores for the MBA course. Applicants who desire to take the MBA course are required to take SNAP and secure a good score in order to be shortlisted for subsequent rounds of selection. Admission for the MA course is not through SNAP but has its own entrance procedure based on the course.

JIS College of Engineering accepts the exam scores of various entrance exams for admission to its two-year MBA course. Mainly, the college requires aspirants to have a valid score in MAT/JEMAT/AMPAI-WB. However, aspirants with a valid CAT/XAT score are also welcomed to apply. They must separately apply for these exams by visiting their respective official websites. The exact exam schedules may vary yearly. However, the tentative application cycles for these exams are as follows:
- JEMAT: June

With this score in the entrance exam, you have very few chances of getting admission to NIMIMS. The last round NMAT cutoff in the year 2024 (General All India) was 248, and the same was in 2023. So as your score is quite low and the difference is huge, your chances are less. However, any guaranteed statement cannot be given as the cutoff varies every year according to the seats intake and demand. You are advised to wait for the final cutoff list and reappear for the exam or go to any other institute if you don't get selected.

Candidates can apply for PGDM at RCBS based on their CAT scores. The school may not release cutoff data in the public domain. However, as per gathered data, the cutoff or required percentile is as mentioned in the following table:
