Yes, admission into the MBA at Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus can take place without taking the MAT exam. The college is supposed to have other admission modes. Generally, the institution, along with MAT, accepts other entrance examinations like CAT, XAT, and CMAT.

The exact scores or cutoff of MAT exam isn't publically available. However in order to get good institute one needs to score around 80-85 percentile.

Admission to any course at Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus is not based on the scores obtained in the MAT exam. To be eligible for the MBA course at the college, the candidate must have completed a Bachelor's in a relevant stream from a recognized University. Although cutoff marks in the exam are not mandatory but the candidates having a valid score in the exam are given higher preference.

There are 150 questions in MAT. It is not mandatory to solve all questions so aim about 90-100 questions to get a good score.

The MAT cut off for GNVS Institute of Management in 2023 was usually between 80 to 85 percentile in the MMS. It varies slightly according to the applicant pool, reservation categories, and seat availability.

A general category candidate had to possess a score nearer to 85 while an open category could find the cutoff somewhere near 75-80. To get admission into the MBA programme at Jagadguru Rambhadracharya Handicapped University - JRHU candidates should aim for a good MAT percentile, ideally above 60-65 along with a minimum of 60% in their graduation. CAT syllabus is vast. It has numerous topics from Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation. Covering the CAT syllabus also includes practicing a variety of sample questions on the topics included. Thus, it requires a lot of time. Candidates must given themselves atleast 3-4 months to cover CAT syllabus and keep in mind the following:
