Yes you can appear for NMAT. Once you qualify then they will call for interview. Chances are less that your HSC compartment will be a hindrance. They look for overall percentage.

IRMA exam or popularly known as ISC or Issues of Social Concern tests the candidate's knowledge about the existing as well as proposed government schemes for rural India. After this, the students called for the interview have to undergo a group task (generally a prioritization task in which the group has to come to a consensus), case study presentation (for which 10 min are given to read the case and 2 min to each candidate for presentation), and a final personal interview to complete the icing on the cake! The weightage changes every year but the approximate weight ages are given below
CAT/XAT score: 40%
ISC Test: 10%
Group Task: 15%

The selection is done by interview panel. If the resume is acceptable and the reasons for the percentage is justifiable enough then you may be able to make it.
