CAT is difficult because number of seats available for 200000 or more candidates who sit for CAT are very low particularly for top 5 IIMs. You can overcome this difficulty by hardworking and effective planning & preparation for CAT.

CET cut off for last year was 91 percentile. CMAT cut was 98 percentile.
If you are reserved categories then you might get the admission.

You can apply colleges like welingkar, scms, bimm, jims, apeejay, itm, ibs, glbajaj, jain univ, upes. Be sure to collect all the infos like placement record, infrastructure etc before taking admission in a college. All the best.

hello friend,
i can help you.
See, BBA- it is a 3 year degree with 6 semesters.
CAT- It is a test for MBA admission.I think that you need 6 months to 1 year for preparations.
MBA- you are saying that you want to do it from IIM. IIM don't offer any MBA course.But don't be sad, because it offers PGPM(post graduate programme of management) which is similar to MBA.
It is a 2 year programme.
SO, 3 Yrs of BBA, 1 Yr of CAT preparations, and 2 Yrs of PGPM = 6 years.
NOTE: You have to pass CAT with good percents, than only you can get admission.
The 2 yrs duration of MBA is equal in every institution.
It is very difficult to get addmited in IIMs.

Hello,
yes In every B-school, it is necessary to crack the exams like CAT,MAT, GMAT. You have to score maximum percents for admissions in ahemdabad and other cities as the competition level is very high. There are coaching classes for preparations of these exams.

To get a good college, u have to score above 70 percentile in CAT along with good performance in gd/pi and decent academic record. To get into IIMs, u need to score above 95 percentile. All the best.
