In order to get selected in MBA course one should posses a required rank in any of the exams in CAT, GMAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, SNAP, IIFT, KMAT. A student can also apply in the official website too. The minimum CAT percentile required to get admission in the MBA will be 82.14. Go to the particular college official website. Apply for the course of interest. If they ask for any entrance go for it. Otherwise give the required documents to get admission.

CEPT University in Ahmedabad does not mandate the MAT for MBA programme admissions. Instead, the university conducts its own entrance examinations and organizes Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) as part of the admission process.

To qualify for admission to CEPT's MBA program, prospective candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

1. Possess a recognised bachelor's degree from any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
2. Attain a valid score in UMAT (Urban Management Aptitude Test).

It's important to note that the MAT (Management Aptitude Test), conducted by the All India Management Association (

Students with a CAT score between 60-70 percentile can get selected for admission at Singhania University and other MBA colleges. MBA colleges generally consider various factors, including a candidate's academic profile, extra-curricular activities, and overall performance. For students with a CAT score below 60-70 percentile, there are other MBA colleges that accept lower percentiles. These colleges may have relaxed the weightage for CAT scores in the final selection process and place more emphasis on other parameters.

MAT is not strictly required for admission to the MBA programme at Jai Narain Vyas University (JNVU).

Instead, admission is based on scores from various entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, and ATMA.

After obtaining scores from one of these exams, candidates go through a selection process that includes a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI) conducted by the university.

Yes, XAT is required for MBA at Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM). LBSIM accepts CAT, XAT, and GMAT scores for admission to its MBA program.

However, XAT is the preferred entrance exam for LBSIM. LBSIM gives more weightage to the XAT score in the selection process compared to the CAT and GMAT scores.

Here is a comparison of the weightage given to different entrance exam scores in the selection process for the PGDM General programme at LBSIM:

Entrance examWeightage
XAT40%
CAT30%
GMAT30%

If you are planning to apply to LBSIM, it is advisable to take the XAT exam. A good XAT score will give you a better chance of getting admission to LBSIM.
