Either of them are same, only nomenclature is different.
MBA is a degree from any AICTE or UGC affiliated institute and PGDM is from any institute which doesn’t have any affiliation.

First of all, you need to be very much clear of why you want to do MBA. Just to add a degree or for career shift or for taking up leadership role in the existing job.
Based on that, you may decide on the investment for MBA.

Go for IIM. IIM-Bangalore is one of the best college.

Kindly appear for CAT or MAT entrance examination for MBA admission. Depending upon your score, you will get the college of your choice.
