Students can get admission at Institute of Hotel Management Guwahati on the basis of  IHM-CAT exam. Cut off is changes every year and it is depend on many factors like caste/category. For safe side student have to get 75 to 85 percentile in the IHM-CAT exam

Both Institutes Hotel Management (IHM) Guwahati and Jaypee Business School (JBS) are reputable institutions and its totally depend on your conveinence and your preference. But I make a small Difference between this two.

IHM Guwahati

  • Placement at IHM Guwahati is quite good around 95% students got placement and average package is 5 LPA.
  • IHM Guwahati is mainly focus on Hospitality management.
  • It has big campus around 25 acres and institute provide all the other necessary facilities including Classrooms, laboratories, hostels, library, and sports facility

Firstly, it should be noted that an RBI Grade B officer is a job, while on the other side, MBA is an academic degree.

Candidates must ensure that the career they are going to choose has scope in the future-

MBA programme is a PG programme which can be done after graduation in any stream.

The best specialisation of MBA to get good placements and high salary is Marketing or finance or Human resource management or digital marketing.

These specifications are trending and have High demand in the society. Most of the companies recruits based on these specifications and now digital marketing is in its peak.

The highest salary one can expect is 12 to 14 LPA. If you do freelance, then one can earn upto 50 LPA.

CAT Exam is not required to get admission National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Kolkata. National Institute of Electronic and Information Technology Kolkata institute did not offer any MBA programme or any other PG courses. Institute primarily offers courses for short term and long term certification and skill development courses in IT and Electronic subjects.

You can be easily eligible for MBA Admission with 86% in CAT. There is minimum 50 percentile required for any graduated course like BA, BSc, B Tech, BCA and others.

50% Candidates those who have passed Bachelor Degree in BA, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., MBBS or any other graduation with the mentioned marks from any institute/university, are eligible to apply. 

CAT score is also considered for the admission including the group discussion and personal interviews rounds.

To selection in MBA programme one must clear an enterance exam of desired management college.

There are many good management college in India, mostly all tier 2, 3 and all IIM accept CAT score. There are some other good college that accepting exams like CMAT, XAT, MAH MBA CET, etc. they are amongst the most the toughest entrance exams in India. Selection criteria is starts with CAT score, 10th and 12th std percentage, candidate's CGPA in graduation degree is also important and mostly first three years are important.

For top college like IIM students have to required percentile above 95 in CAT but in exams like XAT 90 percentile
