Sambalpur university is a good university in Odisha. MAT (Management aptitude Test) is one of the way to secure the seat in MBA in sambalpur University. Approximately 20 seats are reserved for MAT or CAT in which university conducts its own entrance test for the admission in MBA in IIM sambalpur. MAT is not compulsory entrance exam it is one the way for entry in MBA in sambalpur university. On an average around 93 percentile is required in MAT or CAT to secure a seat in IIM sambalpur as only 20 seats are reserved for MAT or CAT exam. Prepare hard for MAT exam because it is highly competative .

Sambalpur university is one of the oldest and most repUted university in odisha it is ranked A by NAAC . Sambalpur university is offers MBA course in its affiliated college IIM sambalpur .The eligibility criteria for MBA in different specialisation are :-
| Rural management | 45% marks in graduation. |
| Agri- business management | 45% marks in graduation |
| Executive MBA | any graduate degree with 2 years of experience |
The Basic entrance exam are accpeted for MBA are CAT, MAT, ATMA, JMAT, XMAT etc.
The basic core criteria for MBA is
- Graduation with 50%or above marks.
- 10+2 with 45% or above marks.
- CAT percentile
A CAT percentile decides the seat in IIM sambalpur as more the percentile more the chances to secure the seat in IIM sambalpur.

The career prospects after completing MBA from Vinayaka Missions University is fantastic. Every year, the university invites around 35 firms to participate in its average campus drive programme for engineering and management students. UBS, Godrej, HCL, ICICI Bank, AXIS Bank, HDFC, Accenture, IBN, and more organizations are among them. A minimum pay package of 2.5 Lacs rupees per year is offered by them. The campus interview for the B.P.E.S course was not offered. However, there are plenty of career options in the public and commercial sectors, as well as in educational institutions, fitness centers, sports teams, and gyms.

the latest cutoff includes a minimum of 3-year graduate programme in any field, have a minimum of 50% marks in grauation from a university authorized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The tution fee is around 5-6 Lakhs.

SKIPS (St. Kabir Institute of Professional Studies) situated in Ahmedabad has a good placement record. It has an average package of 4.5 LPA and the highest package goes around 10-15 LPA which is a good placement record, going head to head with universities like parul university etc. Majority of students are placed in marketing finance and marketing.

At Vinayaka Missions University, entrance to the MBA programme does not need the MAT. According to the university's website, candidates for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), or Common Admission Test (CAT) must be eligible to take one of the tests in order to pursue an MBA at Vinayaka Missions University. The MAT is not one of the approved entry tests for the MBA programme at the university.
