Yes, candidates need to complete graduation in any stream with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for the MBA course. Candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility requirements and submit their proof of eligibility during the document verification round. Any candidate found ineligible during the verification process, will not be given admission.

There is no such provision for direct admission to the MBA programme at COEP Technological University (formerly COEP). COEP Pune MBA admissions are entirely entrance exam-based. Candidates willing to take admission to the MBA programme must take any of the following entrance exams:
- Candidates who belong to the Maharashtra region need to take the MAH-CET exam conducted by the Maharashtra Government.
- And, those who are outside of Maharashtra can take any of the entrance exams, i.e. MAH-CET/ CAT/ ATMA/ CMAT/ XAT/ GMAT.
- Candidates having valid scores in any of the aforementioned exams can apply for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) thro

Out of which, 150 colleges are privately owned, 25 colleges are owned by public/government organisations and public-private entities own 1 MBA college. CMAT, CAT, MAT, and XAT are some of the most accepted entrance exams in top MBA colleges in Gujarat.
The top colleges are IIM Ahmedabad, MICA, Institute of Rural Management, Nirma University, Parul University, Narayana Business School, S.V. Institute, Shanti Business School, GLS University, etc.
