There is no such provision of getting direct admission in MBA at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Chennai. Candidates willing to take admission in MBA at VIT must take various national-level entrance exams such as CAT / XAT / MAT / NMAT / GMAT / CMAT / ATMA.

Selection is based on the rank secured in any one of the entrance exams mentioned above. If the applicant’s rank is above the closing rank specified in the merit list released by VIT will next have to clear the Personal Interview (PI) round, followed by document verification and fee payment.
