When pursuing an MBA, I believe that one should focus on the four main disciplines. These are Sales, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations. These are the most in demand and also the most frequently recruited for. Having said that, you can pursue an MBA in IT, and your college will not prevent you from doing so. However, you will face the following issues both during and after your MBA programme. You will have no foundation to build on. Database, programming, and project ideas are foreign to you. Apply for one course as a full time and regular student and try the other course from distance learning. No, you cannot do both the courses, as a regular student but there is one option for you. Apply for one course as a full time and regular student and try the other course from distance learning.

Some universities are not validating the degrees of Mumbai Hindi Vidyapeeth (MHV). Since MHV comes under HRD, so there are many universities where you can take admission in MBA course through distance as well as regular mode depend upon your interest.

If you have a good purpose for doing PGDM, your decision is sound. After PGDM, you should have a clear idea of where you want to go and what you want to accomplish. It is not about the percentage, but about the institutions, you wish to join. If you are a recent graduate, I would recommend working for a couple of years in your field of interest to have the necessary experience to make an informed decision and have realistic expectations from PGDM. Search other Universities too on the basis of University ranking, management, infrastructure, placements etc. MBA have a promising future as their income structure from the preliminary level in their profession is far higher than normal Masters Students.
