MBBS equivalent in Japan (MD program) lasts 6 years. This includes approximately 2 years of pre-medical sciences and 4 years of clinical training and clerkships. To practice, you must also pass the National Medical Licensing Examination after completing these 6 years.

Honest answer is "No".

Some universities offer English support in the early years. Primary medium of education is Japanese. You must be proficient (JLPT N2/N1) for clinical rotations and hospital work.

The national licensing exam is conducted only in Japanese.
