I have the same trouble too. If you are going to Russia, you have to face the climate, food and language problems, but in Philippines, there is no problem like that, but you have to pass in NMAT exam to continue education in the Philippines.

In America, you only need to know English whereas for other countries, you will have to learn their respective languages. In terms of scope, USA is a great option but in terms of money and quality education for MBBS Ukraine would be best for you.

Dear Sairaj,
As per MCI rules, 50% in PCB 12th board exams for open category and 45% for reserved category are pre requisites to apply for MBBS in India or abroad. So according to this you are eligible. Along with this from this year it is mandatory to have qualifying score in NEET 2019 to apply for MBBS abroad. If you have both the above criteria then you can study MBBS in Russia or any other country. Admissions are open.

Amongst the options, USA and Canada are English speaking countries and excellent for studying Medicine. Besides the country, more important is the college or University you study at. Germany is also home to prominent medical universities. But the education is in German language completely. Russia has been a choice of many Asian and African students to study medicine since many universities in Russia have started providing support in English medium and Russian is taught gradually. You could get admission in Russia, China easily, you need to directly contact the college for the admission, as the admissions are still going on, plus contact mic website before taking admission, Good luck.

When considering to study medicine abroad, you can opt for any country but more important is the university you choose. Russia has over 200 government medical universities. Many of them are gradually making provisions for teaching foreign students in English medium. Perm university is one such university who have recently started support for English. If budget is not a constraint then I would recommend you to choose universities in Moscow such as Russian National Research Medical University which is one of the top universities in Russia. Even in lower budget there are more options to explore.

It is important to study MBBS from a good university irrespective of whether you study in India or abroad. If you choose a good university, it's worth to study MBBS abroad. For admission to MBBS abroad it is important that you score at least 50% in PCB and qualifying score in NEET. If you don't have this and still decide to go abroad you will not be eligible to practice in India. The fee structure varies from as low as 15 lacs for the entire course to 45 lacs or more depending on the country and college you choose. To know further details, please follow this link:

Be it Russia, China, Ukraine, Philippines, etc., most important is to choose a good university which has good facilities and faculty to teach international students. Needless to say, the university has to be listed with MCI and the local council in that country. Every country has its pros and cons. So every person chooses a country as per their preference.

Hi Abhishek, in any of the countries mentioned, Russia or Ukraine, you can get Universities offering MBBS in English medium of instruction. Though learning Russian is mandatory, for it will help you during clinical rotations. Here are a few in Russia:
