There are about 8 top Medical colleges in Mangalore, and all of which are privately owned. NEET is the only accepting entrance exam in the top MBBS colleges in Mangalore.

Top colleges are Kasturba Medical College, K.S. Hegde Medical Academy, Yenepoya (Deemed to be university), Father Mullers Medical College, A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, etc.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, the annual intake as authorised by National Medical Commission is 150. Out of these seats few are  reserved for NRI students and the remaining are filled of as per the guidelines issued by National medical commission. Besides MBBS, there are lots of different courses which a student can do in this Institute. Normally speaking medical colleges with only graduation as MBBS do not have any placement cells since there are not many companies that recruit doctors like they do for engineers or management experts. However, the post graduate students of various streams of this college do get placement opportunities and are also placed in different institutions. Hello Nishar Ahmed, there are no placements after MBBS in any medical college and that is true in this college also. Be that as it may, few students do get placed after their completion of graduation including internship. However after doing PG, students of this institute do get placement offers.

Candidates who have opted for AIIMS, Bhopal during the NEET UG counselling are required to fill an online application form available on the official website of college. After submitting the online application, candidates should take out a print of the same and bring with them to college, along with the original and self- attested copies of the following documents for verification and final admission:

The minimum eligibility criteria for MBBS at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal is class 12th with at least 60% marks or above in aggregate in PCB stream from a recognised board/ university. Besides this, NEET is a mandatory criterion for admission and hence candidates should have a competitive score in NEET. The syllabus and dates for NEET can be checked from their official website. The next NEET examination is going to take place on May 5th, 2024.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal accepts NEET score card as a mandatory criterion for admissions to MBBS course. The course begins in August every year. Admissions for the current sessions are closed now but the dates of upcoming NEET (NEET, 2024) have been released. It will be conducted on 5th May, 2024. The candidates who have qualified class 12th with adequate marks shall start preparing for the upcoming exam. They can check out the NEET syllabus and start solving previous year papers and mock tests. Besides that they can check out online courses for extra help.
