Grant Medical College is a government University while Smt. B.K. Shah Medical Institute and Research Centre is a Private College. The GMC College offers a total of 55 courses while B.K. Shah offers 50 courses. Both the Colleges are good choices for MBBS but the Placement rate of GMC is high as compared to B.K. Shah as the Placement rate of GMC is 88% while that of B.K. Shah is 86%. The average salary offered by GMC is 6.6 LPA while the average salary offered by B.K. Shah is 6.2 LPA but, the Infrastructure facilities and number of seats are more in B.K. Shah.

KGMU NEET UG cutoff 2024 has been concluded for admission to the MBBS and BDS courses. For KGMU, round 4 was the last-round for BDS. For MBBS, round 3 was the concluding round for the General AI category students seeking admission in 2024. As per the KGMU MBBS cutoff 2024, the latest (last-round) cutoff was 2059. For admission to the BDS course, the closing cutoff stood at 25956. Candidates can refer to the table below to view the year-wise NEET UG last-round closing cutoff for both MBBS and BDS courses:

Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute NEET UG Round 3 cutoff for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is 1218878 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For NEET UG Round 3 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 1218878 and closing rank was 1218878 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute is based on the scores obtained in the NEET UG entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
