Hello Dear,
To pursue MBBS courses in India you have to appear the common entrance examination called NEET. Apart from that, you can also appear AIIMS and JIPMER if you are interested.

No, its not mandatory to do surgeries after taking MBBS. In MBBS you'll be studying general medicine as well as surgery. After MBBS, you can pursue either MD or MS depending on you.

JIPMER conducts its own entrance examination like AIIMS. So, you need to appear the JIPMER UG entrance examination for admission into it.

The duration of MBBS courses is 5.5 years including one year of compulsory rotatory internship. The normal course duration is 4.5 years.
