Dear Anurag,
Yes, you can practice after you clear the USMLE. Please go through the United States Medical Licensing Examinations website for details and norms. You must also take the TOEFL. Alternatively, you can pursue a masters degree in public health or hospital administration or any related area in US prior taking the USMLE. Studying in US will give you an idea about the work culture and opportunities available.
Best Wishes
Anjali

Dear Rakesh,
If you plan to do your PG abroad, you should ideally pursue it from USA, UK, Canada, NZ, Australia. Only then your qualification will get recognition in India by MCI.
To take up residency in these countries you have to appear for licensure exams in these countries like USMLE, PLAB etc. PLAB is better to pursue as it is comparatively easier than USMLE. There are very limited options for coaching to prepare yourself for these exams. Kindly contact www.needscounselling.in to know about the best coaching options.
Some doctors take up PG in Russia, Germany and some other countries but these qualifications will not be recognized b

Getting admitted into AIIMS is a herculean task for undergraduate MBBS aspirants. Since, the number of students that appear for its entrance exam is humungous (80k to 100k) compared to its tiny intake of just 72 students. The procedural steps to be followed for admissions are relatively easier.
Firstly, you need to fill up your details in this application form either online or offline and deposit a certain fee (Rs. 1000/-) to make you eligible for the entrance examination. Keep checking AIIMS websites (www.aiimsexams.org, www.aiims.edu, www.aiims.ac.in) to keep track of the dates.

Hi Kalpesh,
For open category students, last year government MBBS seat was not available with 170 marks in MHCET. Usually this is the case every year.
Reserve category students might get at 170. But it all differs every year.
If you don't get a government seat and can't afford management seat or private colleges, you should consider going abroad, as there are excellent options at affordable cost. MBBS is a primary step and any doctor has to go for PG and specialisation. So, invest time wisely.
I hope this helps. All the best.
Best regards.
