Admission to medical and dental courses of study in the state of Tamil Nadu is based on marks obtained in class 12 (plus 2) examination. For candidates from other states of the country, score in All India Pre Medical- Pre dental examination is used for admission to 15 percent of the total seats in medical and dental courses. Dr. MGR Medical University grants affiliation to new medical, paramedical government and self-financing colleges in the state awarding degrees in the study of medicine and dentistry. Dear Sonia,
The duration of the general medical degree program in French universities is about 9 years.
The medical studies are divided into 3 stages known as cycles.
1st cycle - 2 years, 2nd cycle - 4 years, 3rd cycle - 3 years.
Specialization is after this.
Eligibility:
1. You can apply after 12th. Minimum 60% in PCB is preferable.
2. A student before taking admission to any medical program must be proficient in French language at level B2 because all medicine courses in France are taught in French.

Hi Naren,
Yes, paid clinical fellowships are available. You must go through certain verification processes and obtain work permit of the particular country. For example: if you apply for University of Calgary in Canada, your credentials must be verified through the Physician Credential Registry of Canada (PCRC). As an MBBS you are eligible to apply. You must also sit for the USMLE.
Exact information and requirement is available on the websites of the universities. You must start communicating with the department, and need to be accepted by the university before going forward.

Mr.Saikiran, words from Kamaraju is right but according to me you should go for it. We need a lawyer who knows every basis need of medical industry and try to support the needy people through your knowledge and passion. You can apply for LLB programme that is after graduation and there will be a test for apply in this course and there is no age bar fix by Bar council of India. Best of luck for your future and choose your future education very carefully.

Dear Astha it is true that Switzerland Institutes do not prefer foreign applicants in programs related to medicine, dentistry, veterinary and chiropractic with the following exceptions:
If the applicant is:
1. Recognized refugee by Switzerland
2. Citizen of Liechtenstein
3. Foreign citizens who have been residing in Switzerland for 5 or more years.
