Hi, No, NEET is not compulsory/ mandatory for B.Sc. Nursing. It's just that nursing colleges are free to choose NEET as their entrance examination but as of now only a few nursing colleges like BHU, Indian Army B.Sc. Nursing, JIPMER, IPU, etc. Have started accepting NEET for B.Sc. Nursing. Without NEET you can get admission through other entrance examinations like:-
AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing entrance exam
RUHS Nursing entrance exams
CMC Ludhiana B.Sc. Nursing entrance
KGMU Nursing entrance exam
Uttarakhand Nursing Entrance Exam. The general eligibility criteria is that one should have at least 50 % in 12th board examination with Physics Chemistry and Biology. Admission in B.Sc. Nursing is generally on the basis of college level /state level/national level entrance examination.
