In 2023, the last round closing rank for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme at RUHS College of Medical Sciences was 23,179. In 2022, the last round closing rank was 4,313, and in 2021, it was 5,337 for the General All India category students, the expected RUHS NEET cutoff for 2023 for the MBBS course for general category candidates is 3,500 to 7,000th rank. For OBC category students, the expected NEET UG cutoff is 3,200 to 8,400th rank. For SC and ST categories, the expected RUHS NEET UG cutoff is 12,800 to 18,800th rank and 15,500 to 21,000th rank.

The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) admits students to its MBBS programme based on their NEET-UG entrance exam score. The minimum NEET rank for the general category in 2022 was 3767.
Here are some other details about the RUHS MBBS selection process:
15% of MBBS seats are reserved for students who pass the All India Quota NEET-UG entrance exam.
Candidates must score at least 50 percentile to pass under the unreserved category.
Candidates must score at least 40 percentile to pass under the reserved category.

Yes, an MBBS is a graduate in Surgery, hence, he/ she is licenced to perform surgeries. However, surgery is a complicated procedure and only those who have enough expertise in this discipline opt to perform surgeries after completing MBBS.

Yes, once you clear the final examination or qualifying examination of MBBS, you need to complete a compulsory rotatory internship of 1 year from a recognised institution/ hospital. On successful completion of the internship, you can officially add "Dr" to your name.
