To join MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), you need to finish Class 12 with English, Chemistry, and Biology, and get at least 50% marks in these subjects.

The MBBS course takes about 5.5 years in India to complete.

Colleges may have their own minimum marks, so some may ask for more than 50%.

Yes, Bennett University accepts NEET score for admission to BTech Biotechnology and Integrated BTech + M.Tech Biotechnology. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA. Aspirants once the NEET results are announced, can submit their score for evaluation.

No, NEET is not required for admission to BMLT courses in Kolkata. Candidates can secure admission basis MAKAUT CET and West Bengal State Board exam.

Candidates should fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements for the BMLT course. Those who wish to apply should check the BMLT eligibility criteria given below:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with an aggregate of 50 per cent or above
  • They must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects in higher secondary or Class 12

Jamia Hamdard offers admission to MBBS course based on NEET UG followed by the NEET UG Counselling. NEET cut off has been released up to Round 3 Seat Allotment results for the MBBS course. As per the Jamia Hamdard NEET cut off 2023, the closing rank for General category candidates for Round 1 was 56658. In 2022, the closing rank for R1 for the MBBS course stood at 47464, whereas in 2021 it was 35272.
