Students must be Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery graduates from a recognised educational institute. Students must have secured a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks to sit for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduation entrance exam, qualifying via which they will get admission to this course. A Doctor of Medicine degree represents a higher post-graduate degree for specialty training. Only medical graduates with Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery degrees are eligible to pursue a Doctor of Medicine degree. Only medical graduates with Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery degrees are only eligible to pursue a Doctor of Medicine degree.
