There are a total of 150 seats for the MBBS course at SGT University. Candidates are admitted to the course as per the sanctioned seat intake. Additionally, for seat allotment, candidates score in the NEET exam is also taken into consideration. The university/governing body further reserve the right to revise the seat intake.

SGT University admit candidates to MBBS course based on merit in NEET exam. The candidates with a score equal to or more than cutoff marks become eligible for admission. Apart from this it is also necessary that the aspirants meet the course-specific eligibility criteria. The SGT University MBBS admission procedure is as follows:
- Application form filling (available in online/offline modes)
- Shortlisting of students with release of cutoff list
- Counselling for seat allotment
- Document verification and admission fee payment for seat confirmation

The eligibility criteria defines the minimum educational qualification required for a candidate to become eligible for course admission. The SGT University MBBS eligibility criteria is as follows:
Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have passed Class 12 and studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects individually. In addition, the qualifying exam should have been passed with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for General-PWD and 40% for reserved categories).
Further, the aspirants must hold the relevant documents (original/copies) as well. These documents are required for verification purposes.

No, admission to BTech in Biomedical Engineering programme is done through the Engineering entrance test. Through NEET, you can only enroll on MBBS, BDS and other medical programmes. BTech or BE in Biomedical Engineering is an interdisciplinary course which consists of subjects from medicine and engineering but it doesn't fall under the Medical domain. Moreover, candidates must have studied Mathematics in Class 12 in order to appear for JEE and pursue this course.

Yes, you can get admission in Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) for the B.V.Sc. course without NEET if you are from Uttarakhand. Admission to B.V.Sc. for Uttarakhand candidates is based on merit in the entrance exam conducted by the university, not through NEET

Yes, SGT University offer admission to NEET-qualified candidates in the MDS programmes. Hence, the aspirants need to have a valid score of NEET MDS. There is no other provision for selection to the PG programmes. Candidates with the required score in the exam have to further go through a centralised counselling procedure for seat allotment.
