The National Institute of Fashion Technology offers a two-year full-time MFM course at the postgraduate level. Candidates seeking admission to the MFM course need to appear for an entrance examination comprising of a General Ability Test (GAT). Shortlisted candidates of the entrance examination are then required to appear for a Personal Interview (PI) round.

At the postgraduate level, NIFT Bhopal offers an MFM programme to students. The basic eligibility criteria to apply for the MFM programme at NIFT Bhopal is passed graduation from a recognised institute/ university or undergraduate Diploma of a minimum of three years duration from NIFT/ NID. Admission to all the programmes is based on a valid score obtained in NIFT Entrance Exam, which is divided into three parts, Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT) and Situation Test (SAT)/ Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/ PI) round.

NIFT Bhubaneswar offers a two-year MFM course. Students are selected for the MFM programme based on their performance in the GAT exam followed by the GD and PI round conducted by the institute.
