While preparing a cutoff for the NIFT Hyderabad MFM course, the authorities will consider examination and admission-related factors. The listed factors will be checked and considered by the authorities while determining the cutoff of NIFT Hyderabad MFM—previous years' cutoff trends, difficulty level of the exam, total number of qualified candidates, total number of candidates applying for a specific course, number of seats available for admission, etc. After checking all of these factors, the authorities will prepare the NIFT Hyderabad MFM cutoff for MFM admission.

Currently, NIFT Hyderabad has not released the cutoff for the MFM course 2025 on the basis of NIFTEE ranks/scores. However, to get an idea about the competitiveness of the cutoff in the previous years, candidates can check the below table:

NIFT Entrance Exam Last Round Closing Rank (General-All India)
Course202220232024
Master of Fashion Management (MFM)130238145

In conclusion, the table shows that when comparing the years 2023 and 2024, the competition increases and the ranks decreases. Candidates should therefore anticipate a competitive cutoff for this year. However, it is difficult to determine with certainty if the ranks for the cutoff increase or decrease.

According to several sources, pursuing an MFM at NIFT is considered moderately difficult, with the entrance exam being manageable if you prepare well with a focus on general knowledge, logical reasoning, and basic mathematics, with the most challenging aspect often being the case study analysis section; most students can prepare adequately within a few months with dedicated study and practice with past papers.
