Yes you can, even if you are from commerce background you don't need to worry, because fashion designing courses are open for all the streams. You are eligible for a two-year master degree program in fashion designing as you are a graduate. Hope this answer helps.

The basic difference between these two courses is that the M.Des. Course deals with research in design, whereas the MFM deals with business aspects of fashion. Here is a comparison to help you decide which is better suited for you:
1. Objective: If your interest lies in learning about fashion design at a higher level, the M.Des. Course is for you. If you are interested in marketing and management in fashion, you must take the MFM course.
2. Fee: The course fee for M.Des. Is around Rs. 3 Lacs per year. In good colleges, the course fee for the MFM course is around Rs. 4.5 Lacs.

Candidates seeking admission must clear the IIFT cutoff. The NTA will release the cutoff after the IIFT result is declared. Those who get the cutoff marks will qualify for the next stage of the admission process of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. There is no age bar for applying to the Masters Programmes in NIFT. Eligibility for Masters Programmes Design, Management and TechnologyDesign M.Des Master of Design
Candidates must have successfully completed any of the following:
Undergraduate Degree in any discipline from any Institute University recognised by law in India or
Undergraduate Diploma of minimum three years duration from NIFT NID.

BCA and MFM are two different field of study. So, if you have done your BCA then you have the past experience and you know your interest well. I will suggest you to select MFM only if you are passionate/interested in this field.
