It is possible to be admitted to VIT - Vidyalankar Institute of Technology B.E./B.Tech course without writing MHT CET. The institute looks in to scores of other entrance tests like JEE Main for which the candidate needs to secure minimum 50 percentile. Further, there are 20% management quota seats as well in the institute intake of the particular course. Candidates may also apply based on the institute's institutional quota that takes up to 10% for admissions. However there is a riding on the candidate that they should have passed in 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks with the subjects Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biology.

Yes, admission is granted to the institute by MHT CET exam exemption and also to B.E. / B.Tech. The institute accepts the score of JEE Main entrance exam SU JEE. A candidate must have 10+2 completed with aggregate marks of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. This flexibility allows a student to get in based on an alternate entrance exam score; this is accessible for those who may not participate in MHT CET.
