MICA Cut-off

Yes, You can get admission into MICA with 70 percentile in CAT/XAT/GMAT followed by performance in MICAT exam and GE PI round. Admission to MICA is typically done based on competitive exams scores like XAT/ GMAT/ CAT. MICA provides 20 percent weightage to the above entrance exam while selecting candidates for admission. Aspirants then need to appear and perform well in MICAT written exam to get selected for GE ( group exercise) PI ( personal interview). These section are usually part of the selection process to examine candidate's communication skills, imagination, manageable for the program. Selected candidates are then required to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.

MICA cutoff is prepared on the basis of multiple factors. MICA Merit List Preparation is a four step process as stated below:

Step 1: Psychometric test) is the first step which is a qualifier.

Step 2: Those who qualify through Psychometric test , their relative performance of CAT/ XAT/ GMAT entrance exam is considered. A minimum cutoff of the best of three scores of any of CAT /XAT total percentile/ GMAT score will considered. 

Step 3: Those who qualify based on the CAT/XAT/GMAT performance, their MICAT scores will be assessed.

Step 4: Candidates who appear in GE and PI must be recommended by majority of the panellists of PI to be considered for the final merit list
