Yes, some colleges in Kerala offer BTech in Mining Technology. These are:
- ILM College of Engineering & Technology
- Jawaharlal College of Engineering & Technology
- Mount Zion College of Engineering
- Rajadhani Institute of Engineering & Technology
But all of these are private colleges. There are no government colleges in Kerala offering BTech in the required specialisations.

Candidates with higher experience may earn more in comparison to their counterparts. Moreover, Public Sector companies offer wide range of allowances and benefits to the employees. The minimum salary of a mining engineer is stated as follows:
Entry Level- INR 4- 6 LPA
Mid- Career: INR 7- 10 LPA
Senior-level: INR 12- 14 LPA
