In general, NID Gandhinagar doesn't cost much more than NID Ahmedabad. For their design degrees, both institutes charge fees that are comparable, albeit there can be a small variance. To obtain an accurate comparison, it is important to examine the most recent fee details on each of their individual websites.

Both NID Gandhinagar and NID Ahmedabad have well-regarded M.Des programs. Because of its longer history and wider network, NID Ahmedabad is frequently regarded as more prominent; yet, NID Gandhinagar also provides great design education with a strong emphasis on innovation and research. When choosing between them, one should take into account the faculty, available specialisations, and campus amenities.

Candidates cannot join NID Bhopal directly. NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT), aka NID DAT, is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Institute of Design (NID).  The Design Aptitude Test (DAT) is conducted in two stages:

  1. DAT Prelims - The candidate first appears in DAT Prelims.
  2. DAT Mains - Shortlisted candidates have to appear in DAT Mains.

The FINAL result of NID DAT will be prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.

The admission requirements can vary based on the programme you are applying for and the number of seats available. NID provides a range of design programmes, and the level of competition may change depending on the programme's popularity. NID conducts a rigorous entrance exam, known as the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), which evaluates your design aptitude, creativity, problem-solving skills and visual communication abilities.
