No, there is no provision for direct admission to the MDes programme of NID Bangalore. The admission to the programme is purely based on the applicants' merit in the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted by NID. The test comprsies two stages: prelims and mains. Candidates shortlisted after the first stage qualify for the second stage. The final merit list is based on the applicants' performance in both the stages.
