Valid OBC NCL Certificate
General Validity The general validity of an OBC NCL certificate will depend on the Central or State Government from which it has been issued. Traditionally, certificates issued by the Central Government are valid for a period of one year, whereas State Government-issued certificates are valid for three years. Since your certificate is valid until 2026, you probably received it from the State Government.

Eligibility criteria and tuition fees for the National Institute of Design (NID) vary by course and college:
Eligibility criteria
B.Des: Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board and be under 24 years of age as of August 1, 2025. They must also pass the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Prelims and Mains.
M.Des: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from a recognised board. They must also pass the DAT Prelims and Mains.
PhD: Candidates must have a master's degree in design. They must also pass a proposal screening, DRT, and interview.
