Yes, you can get admission at NLSIU with 60% in Class 12th. Admission to the BA LLB (Hons) programme is strictly based on the CLAT entrance examination. Therefore, students have to secure good enough ranks in the exam to be eligible for admission.

Yes, the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is required for admission to the B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Degree Programme at the NLSIU. Admission to the programme is purely on the basis of merit as assessed through CLAT. 

Foreign nationals who wish to apply to NLSIU also have to compulsorily appear for CLAT. Foreign nationals who possess a PIO (Person of Indian Origin) or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) card are eligible to appear for CLAT and will be subject to the same rules and eligibility as General Category students¹.
