Yes, NLSIU Bangalore provides the scholarships to students based eligibility. Students whose total family income is less than INR 8 lakh per annum are eligible to apply for financial aid. The university offers the scholarships in various forms which are Stipends, Loan Interest Payments, Waiver on Tuition [25% to 100%], Waiver on Residence [50% to 100%]

If a OCI Card Holder student has a proof of Study Certificates issued by their institute that they were students in a registered educational institution in Karnataka for minimum 10 years then they are eligible under the Karnataka Student quota at the time of admission at NLSIU Bangalore.

NLSIU Bangalore provides reservations for students belonging to SC, ST, OBC (Non-creamy layer) and EWS students in its full-time on campus programme. Also, seats are reserved horizontally for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Female, and Karnataka Students.
If a candidate belong to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) category, he/she is required to provide a valid caste category certificate issued by the Competent Authority at the time of counsellingor admission.

No, there is no age limit to apply for UG and PG programmes at National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore. All the candidates seeking out admission at NLSIU must appear for CLAT exam for admission to B.A. LLB and LLM programmes.

Eligible candidates must apply online on the official website of NLUs.(CLAT). Admission to the Five-Year B.A., LLB (Hons.) and the One Year LLM degree programmes, is through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
Admission to the three-Year LLB (Hons), Master’s Programme in Public Policy (MPP) and Ph.D programmes is through the National Law School Admission Test (NLSAT).

At NLSIU Bangalore, the average package for BA LLB is INR 16 LPA. In total 65 out of 75 students were placed in year 2022. The courses in NLSIU Banglore include BA LLB (Hons), LLB, LLM, Master of Public Policy (MPP), and PhD. Admissions to BA LLB(Hons) are through CLAT scores, while LLB admissions require qualifying NLSAT LLB. For LLM programs, CLAT PG scores are considered. Admissions to MPP and PhD programs are through NLSAT exams.Students will have to complete their BA LLB programme to be eligible for the LLM programme on campus. Students who have completed any undergraduate degree may apply for the on-campus MPP programme or off-campus online and hybrid programmes offered by NLSIU's Professional and Continuing Education Department.

For admission to NLSIU Bangalore LLM programme, candidates have to register through CLAT portal. Registered candidates for CLAT 2025 counselling will be called by NLSIU Bangalore through five provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT.
Candidates, who have been allocated a seat in the provisional lists and applied for revision, should check the status of their seat in the CLAT provisonal lists. Both NLU Delhi and NLSIU Bangalore are the top Law universities in India and offered BA LLB course with a well-structured curriuculum.
