The institute will not exempt you from mess and hostel fees fully. There were people at IIT Ropar living in Chandigarh and Ropar, but according to rules they were exempted for 10-12 days per month for the mess fees on special request. Also you would have to take special permissions from Institute for staying at your home or outside with proper reasons.

Hello Shrishail
LLM. CLAT, AILET, LSAT, NEST are the exams through you can take admission. Generally universities offering LL.M. course conduct an Entrance Test for admission to the program. The application forms for this course are available in the month of April-May every year.
The entrance test paper contains around 150 questions which can be both objective and subjective in nature. The duration of the exam is 2 hours which includes negative marking for objective type questions.
Thank you.

Nlsiu does provide international law. but as you have completed 12th you have to first pursue llb where the subject will be introduced to you then you can do llm in it. Criminal law is a different branch but there are some conventions that deal with non-conventional crimes that may happen at int. level. but still, domestic law can only give relief in the true sense. you will get clear picture of this once you complete your llb.
