The exam paper of NDA written exam is divided into two parts,  GAT and Mathematics. All the questions in the exam will be objective type. There will be a total of 150 questions in GAT while the Mathematics part will carry a total of 120 questions. Each section of the exam will be held for 2 ½ hours. The GAT section will be for 600 marks while the Mathematics section will carry 300 marks. The GAT section is divided into two parts.  Part A comprises English while Part B consists of General Knowledge.

NDA admit card is released online only. It can be downloaded by logging with registration number or roll number. Candidates can carry their admit cards along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre.

SSB interview requires a lot of practice of Reasoning, Logical aptitude and Psychological tests. For SSB interview a person must buy a god SSB interview book and start practicing Picture story writing, Word Association and Situation reaction. Group discussion is also very important for this interview. So make a group of friends and discuss on current events.

National Defence Academy offers various courses recognised by the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and AICTE. NDA Khadakwasla offers UG degrees for Air Force and Navy Cadets and for various Army Cadets. Studying at NDA Pune is not free, students will be required to pay the fees for course they opted and some other fees such as accommodation.The college also offers scholorships for students in need.
