NDA was only for males in 2019 and after the rule change, girls are also eligible for NDA. Now both are eligible for NDA exam and the process is the same like before.

A candidate must be between the ages of 16.5 and 19.5 in order to meet the age requirement to appear for the NDA. Candidates for NDA 1 2023 must have been born between July 2, 2004, and July 1, 2007, and candidates for NDA 2 2023 must have been born between January 2, 2005, and January 1, 2008. NDA minimum is 16.5 year and maximum is 19.5 year is age limit for NDA.

NDA is a two stage selection process, 1 is written exam then SSB interview is a 5-day process. NDA exam is conducted by UPSC and exam is conducted twice in a year.
Exam pattern
Paper 1 Maths
Paper 2 English
And both exams are conducted the same day. NDA is the best way for defence entry,
After clearing written exam, you can get shortlisted for SSB interview and after 5-day process, you can go for training.

You need to focus on Maths and English because it's the NDA paper 1 and paper 2

If you focus on before 12 then you get good score In 12 also and it's good for exam prospect also

According to the official NDA 2 2022 notification, which was published on May 18, 2022, both male and female applicants who are single and were born between January 2, 2004, and January 1, 2007, are eligible to sit for the exam. NDA exam was conducted by UPSC and it's twice in a year exam conducted every student who pass 10+2 is eligible for exam but if you pass 12 without physic and Maths then you only eligible for army and if you pass with physic and Maths the you have a chose to choice it
Exam pattern is 2 paper conducted on same day
Paper 1 is Maths
Paper 2 is English negative marking is applicable on exam
