In general, the total duration of the Assam NEET UG counselling is of three to four months. The total number of counselling rounds is also around three to four. On an average, each round is conducted for a duration of one month. The exact durtion will be updated once the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam announces the round-wise schedule of the Assam NEET counselling 2025. Following the release of the NEET 2024 results, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will publish the NEET 2024 counselling dates, most likely in July 2024. Last year, the MCC released the NEET counselling dates exactly one month after the NEET results were made public. The state medical authority will handle the counselling process for the 85% of state-quota seats. The state and federal deadlines for submitting admissions applications differed. Four to six rounds of NEET counselling are required for admission to medical and allied programmes, such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS, and BSc Nursing.
