Following the release of the NEET 2024 results, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will publish the NEET 2024 counselling dates, most likely in July 2024. Last year, the MCC released the NEET counselling dates exactly one month after the NEET results were made public. The state medical authority will handle the counselling process for the 85% of state-quota seats. The state and federal deadlines for submitting admissions applications differed. Four to six rounds of NEET counselling are required for admission to medical and allied programmes, such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS, and BSc Nursing.

Yes, after the declaration of the CENTAC NEET counselling seat allotment result, candidates will be given the option to upgrade the seat choice. Based on that, the counselling authorities will upgrade the seats based on the choices entered by candidates, in case the desired seat is vacant after the institute reporting process is concluded. The CENTAC NEET UG counselling process is conducted in online mode only. Candidates will have to register and fill choices in online mode. The counselling authorities will also release the seat allotment result in online mode. However, the last round of the counselling, which is the institute reporting, or the document verification, will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates will have to be physically present at the allotted institutes, or the venue specified by the counselling authority and get their documents verified and complete the admission formalities.
