Students seeking to take admission under DASA also need to have a minimum eligibility criteria. They need to score 60% aggregate marks (average of all subjects of qualifying examination taken together) or 6.50 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) or equivalent in the qualifying examination. It is higly unlikely that you will be able to get admission in nsit with your score.

Hi Asha,
Instead of focusing on China and Nepal, I suggest you consider Philippines as an option as the country is an English speaking country and you can converse with patients in English. MCI clearance is equally difficult if you pursue your studies from Nepal or China. However, Philippines follows US style of medicine studies and clearing MCI screening is relatively easier. Also, Philippines is now a hub for USMLE coaching. Additionally, Philippines has similar weather conditions as India and therefore similar types of diseases could be found in Philippines. Dear Hemraj, As per the direction from Nepal Govt, Ministry of Education, Tribhuvan University Nepal had decided not to consider one year Sr. Secondary Program of NIOS as equivalent with Two years Sr. Secondary Program of HSEB Board Nepal. Basically, they argue that NIOS Sr. Secondary course is only of 1 year whereas 10+2 program means it should be of 2 years as it is in HSEB Board of Nepal. Nepal Govt. might be worried that if 10+2 program can be completed in 1 year in NIOS and considered equivalent to their HSEB Board (The only 10+2 Board of Nepal) which student are going to pursue their programs.
