In NEE-I questuons are asked from Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The full marks in NEE-I paper is 150. 35 questions are asked from Phyics, 35 quesytions from chemistry and 55 questions come from Maths.

No. The syllabus of NERIST NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III vary. The candidates can donwload the syllabus for NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III from the official website. It is recommended that the candidates follow the prescribed syllabus only so that the preparation is more effective and no time is wasted in the topics that are not going to appear in the NERIST NEE exam.

Candidates have to upload scanned copy of their recent passport sized photo and signature one in blue/black ink. The uploaded images should be within 3.5 X 4.5 cm in size, maximum 100 KB in size and must be in JPEG/JPG format.

Yes. Candidtaes can select and fill choice of their city from the available list from where they wish to appear in the NEE exam. The NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is conducted in the eight North Eastern States. An applicant should choose an appropriate exam centre code from where they desire to appear for the NERIST Entrance Examination. An applicant has to provide two choices of examination centres while filling out the online form for the NEE. The first choice of examination centre exercised by an applicant is maintained as such. No. NERIST releases the NEE application form in the online mode only, Candidates cannot access the application form in any other form. The eligible candidates can apply for NEE in the online mode only and the form must be submitted in the online mode only. The applictaion fee can be alsopaid online only.

NERIST will conduct the NERIST Entrance Exam (NEE) 2025 counselling after the declaration of the result. The schedule for counselling will be announced by NERIST and as per the schedule candidates have to complete the admission process. The candidates will have to produce all the original certificates at the time of the certificate verification process. They will also have to submit the attested copies of their documents along with the online Anti-ragging undertakings. The admission of the candidate is subject to the availability of the seats in their choice of college and course.

The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) will declare the NERIST NEE result online on the official website. The result will be announced tentatively in May. The results are made available online on the official website of the institute in PDF format.

NERIST will upload the NEE answer key 2025 after completion of the test in May. The answer keys will have the correct answer to all the questions asked in the exam. Using the NEE answer key candidates can crosscheck the answers they have marked in the exam. Hence, candidates can have an idea of their scores. Also, candidates who are not satisfied with the NERIST NEE answer key can challenge the same within the given timeline.

The candidates have to enter their registered ID and password in order to be able to download their NEE admit cards. The admit card of NEE I, II & III contains important information about the exam and the candidate which includes exam venue, date, and time along with the candidate's name and roll number. The candidates are also notified of the availability of their NEE admit card on their registered e-mail or mobile number.
