The last date to apply for NERIST NEE is March 31, 2025. The application process will start on January 10, 2025. The exam dates for NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III will vary however, the application form and other events for all 3 entrances shall be the same. NEE-I is held for admission in certificate courses and the NEE-III is held for BTech LE admissions. In this article, we will cover the NEE-II exam for BTech admissions.

The exam date of NERIST NEE 2025 has been announced. The NEE II and III exam will be held on April 26, 2025. The NEE-I exam will be conducted on April 27, 2025. The NEE (NERIST Entrance Examination) is conducted by the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science And Technology for admissions to various Bachelor of Technology programs, offered by the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science And Technology. The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) will release the NERIST NEE 2025 application form on January 10, 2025. The online application forms will be available on the official website, nerist.ac.in. The application process for NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III will start together and candidates can apply for NEE as per their choice of course. The NEE-II exam is held for admission in BTech and BSc (Hons) in Forestry. Whereas, NEE-I is held for admission in certificate courses and the NEE-III is held for BTech LE admissions.

Yes, In NERIST the SC/ST students of North Eastern states are generally provided with stipends by the concerned state and Central governments at varying rates. The North Eastern Council (NEC) also provides scholarship to the students of the region for their study at Degree and higher levels. The students can also apply for various scholarships schemes available to them as per eligibility through National Scholarship Portal (NSP). The continuance of stipend/scholarship is subject to the following conditions:

Candidates can check the steps below to check the NEE result:
- Visit the official website of the institute
- Navigate to the results link
- Submit the required details
- Your NEE result and scorecard will be displayed on the screen
- Carefully check and download the scorecard for the future. Also, print a hard copy and preserve.

NERIST conducts 2 entrance exams. The candidates do nt need to appear in all three. They need to appear for the NEE via which they can gain admission to the course of their choice.
To take admission in certificate course, candidates have to appear in NEE-I. For admission in BTech and BSc (Hons) in Forestry courses candidates have to appear in NEE-II. And, for admission to BTech LE, candidates have to appear in NEE-III.

Yes. NERIST releases the answer key for the offline NEE test. The answer key contains the correct answer to all questions asked in the exam. The answer keys are uploaded for NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III to the admission portal after completion of the test.

Yes, there is an age limit to apply for NEE-II. The maximum age limit as of 31st July 2024 is 23 years for the students of the general category (GE) (born on or after 1st August 2001), 26 years for OBC and female applicants (born on or after 1st August 1998), and 28 years for ST/SC/PD (born on or after 1st August 1996).

Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination this year and whose results are awaited are also eligible to apply. However, they must produce their mark sheets/ grade cards/ pass certificates on the day of counselling/ admission. Otherwise, their selection will be cancelled.

Once the form is submitted, candidates cannot make any corrections in the NEE application form. After the final submission of the application form, no changes can be made by the applicant in her/ his online application. Request for change of any kind of data such as category, center of examination, etc. shall summarily be rejected. Application once submitted shall be final.
