Indian student who wish to study at the University of Auckland, New Zealand must meet the entry requirements as per the program. Students must complete a high school degree for UG and a bachelor’s degree for PG admission. Mentioned below are the admission requirements for UG and PG admissions:

Auckland University UG entry requirements:

• Indian School Certificate, All India Senior School Certificate, and Grade 12 from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board, and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education: All applicants must achieve an overall average of 75% with a minimum of 70% in English.
• Indian Higher Secondary Examinations (Class 12) from all other Higher Secondary State Boards: All applicants must achieve an overall average of 80% with a minimum of 75% in English.
• Must submit proof of English language proficiency

Auckland University PG entry requirements:

• Admission to a 1-year Master's degree requires a bachelor's honors degree or postgraduate Diploma from a recognised university (or similar) overseas.
• Admission to an 18-month Master's degree requires a bachelor's degree or postgraduate certificate from a recognised university (or similar) overseas.
• Admission to two years Master's degree requires a bachelor's degree or an acceptable equivalent qualification from a recognised university (or similar) overseas.
• Complete a four-year Bachelor's degree at a recognised university with a Grade Point Average of 4.0 or higher (vary as per the program).
• Must submit proof of English language proficiency
• Provide proof of previous work experience (if available)

Applying to the Information Technology Training Institute is considerably different from applying to other universities in New Zealand based on various parameters. First and foremost, the Information Technology Training Institute provides students with diplomas on the completion of their programme while other universities provide a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

Aside from this, Information Technology Training Institute has a minimal eligibility criteria for students with no specific pre requisites for students as long as they are at least 17 years of age, (18 for international students) and have a basic NCEA level qualification. Other universities in New Zealand follow a more comprehensive eligibility criteria with a number of specific requirements including letters of recommendation, pre requisite courses, statements of purpose, standardised test scores and more.
